For our next contest, we are going to give you all a chance to guess the birth weight and date of Clara Hannah Sherwood.
The nursery is ready.
In addition to the weight and date, there will be bonus points for the following questions:
What will Greg's first words be after Clara is born?
What is the worst name Nicolle will call Greg during labor(please remember this is a family blog)?
What is the dumbest thing that Greg will say in attempt to comfort Nicolle?
The winner will be posted when we have the baby.
(Here is a hint... her due date is January 8th.)

7 lbs 5 oz. born on Jan 5th.
The only bonus I wish to guess on is what Greg will say to try and comfort Nicolle. " did I ever tell you about the time I fell off the stage at Church and had a leg of a table bruse my stomach?"
hope that all goes well and that She is born healthy.
Karen
I'm guessing January 4th. Weight 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Maybe Greg will say something like, "It's alright, Nicolle. Your second delivery will be easier".
Mom/Dianne Alexandre
7lbs 7oz on January 9th.
First thing Greg will say when he sees the baby is "Wow"!
We hope the delivery goes smooth!!
Melly and Carlos
7 lb 2 oz on Jan 7th.
Dumbest thing Greg will say is "just breathe honey and you will feel better"
Worst thing Nicolle will say is "just shut up"
Greg's first words will be nothing as he will be speachless.
Hope all goes well.
Kim
January 3 8 lbs. 7 oz.
Greg will say, "It's okay honey, next time I'll do it."
Nathalie/Boog
Weight: 7 lbs 9 oz
Date: Jan 10th (Sorry Nicolle, I'm sure you're hoping for sooner!)
Greg's first words: "She's beautiful."
Worst thing Nicolle will say: "I'm NEVER doing this again!" I know it's not really a name, but I don't know if she'll take out her pain on you, Greg. Keep me posted.
Dumbest thing Greg will say to comfort her: "Just think, honey, in 17 hours this will be over."
Andrea and Melly:
We forgot to mention that anyone guessing she will be LATE automatically loses this contest!
:)
-Nicolle
I guess that the weight will be 8 lb 3 oz and the date be on January 7th (even though it'd be the sweetest to be born on the same birthday as the king Elvis, your due date).
Q: What will Greg's first words be after Clara is born?
A: "No, no, no, no,...Clean it all off first, & then pass her over here."
Q: What is the worst name Nicolle will call Greg during labor(please remember this is a family blog)?
A: "Michael ..."(Should I really put the last name?)
Q: What is the dumbest thing that Greg will say in attempt to comfort Nicolle?
A: "I know I'm the (s.o.b.)one who did this to you, but remember it all began with love, honey!"
(-Studly Overachieving Bloke)!
Mike
January 6th, 7lbs, 8oz.
Just a hunch but I think, I think she'll be a girl.
Greg's first words when he sees the baby will be: That was amazing!!!
The dumbest thing Greg will say to comfort Nicolle will be: I told you to take the epidural earlier, but nooo, you had to do things your way.
Nicolle, if you take the epidural early enough, you won't feel like taking your pain out on Greg, therefore in no need of negative language, but it is however a great time to get out any other frustration you may have suppressed the last four years, and not be held accountable for your actions. (You just had a freakin' baby for crying out loud)
We love you, don't forget to breath, enjoy your pain, GOOD LUCK!
1) January 9th; 7 lbs 8oz
2) Whew! I'm glad she looks like you honey!
3) Cotton-headed ninny-muggins!
4) Anything! OR "Just think, our second baby won't hurt near as much"
Good luck you two and God Bless your FAMILY!!!
I am guessing Jan 9th and 7 lbs 2 oz.
Natalie
I'm guessing Jan 10th and weighing 6lb 4oz.
I think Greg will just cry and not really say anything coherent.
Greg will say "You look beautiful right now Nicolle!"
We are all excited for the both of you! You'll be great parents!
Kris
7lb even born on Jan 11th.
Greg will say dooh like homer simpson when Clara is born.
I agree with Kris that Greg will tell Nicolle how beautiful she is!
Your guys are going to be GREAT parents and enjoy every minute!
Kari
